At the gates of the Royans-Vercors, Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans marks the transition between the plains of the Drôme and the wooded hills of the pre-Alps where you can admire unusual and unexpected landscapes.
Description
Departure from Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans near the cave of Thaïs (parking), take the direction of Belvédère 3, follow the banks of the Bourne for a moment before crossing the national road (attention, keep your children by the hand!) and finally to join the crossroads of the Massotiers 1.
The trail then rises steadily but gradually in undergrowth to Vanille 2, from there, reach Le Belvédère 3 nearby.
The return to Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans takes place via La Cote 457 meters 4, start the descent in the forest to Tire-Vire 5. Continue in the direction of Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans by a varied and pleasant route to the junction of the Chemin de la Draye 6. Follow the yellow and green signs that lead you to the parking lot, the starting point of this beautiful hike.

Access and parking
From Valence, follow the N532 then the A49, take the exit of Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans, follow the D532, then turn left before the village to join La Bourne and the Tourist Office at the foot of the aqueduct .
From the North, take exit 9 of the A49 towards Pont-en-Royans. In Saint Romans continue in direction of Saint-Nazaire by the D1532, cross the village, then join La Bourne and the Office of tourism at the foot of the aqueduct.
